The place was in a very convenient neighborhood to commute to all the sights and eat good food! It’s literally around the corner of the Galata tower! The room was extremely clean and beautifully equipped! All the staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Especially the owner took the time to talk to us or help us out. She was very warm and authentically welcoming! We received a WiFi device for free to carry around for the whole trip. This way we didn’t have to buy SIM card, which was very thoughtful! The breakfast was very big and delicious. One night we were hanging out at the bar talking to the bar tender and he was really excited to show us the roof top for the incredible view. We loved staying at the Walton Galata and felt very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff. We are looking forward to coming back!

The host was extremely hospitable; very helpful and open to discuss and give recommendations about what to do and see in the city. The room was very clean. The hotel is in one of the best possible spots. The old city is 20 min on foot, Istiklal can be reached within roughly 15 min on foot. Similar walking distance for Galata tower. Nevertheless, the neighborhood is very lively with plenty of bars and modern cafes.

Our stay at Center Port Karaköy was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful team — Erdal, Faisal, and Yunus — whose kindness, genuine care, and thoughtful attention to every detail made us feel truly at home. Their sincerity and willingness to help with anything we needed were beyond what we could have hoped for.
The room was spotless, with impeccable cleanliness maintained throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Karaköy, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and the waterfront, yet still calm and comfortable for a good night’s rest.
I highly recommend this hotel, especially for solo female travelers looking for both comfort and peace of mind. Without a doubt, Center Port Karaköy will be my go-to place to stay whenever I am in Istanbul.
