The Waterman is well situated for the waterside and downtown. It's easy to walk to the beach, the wharf, the Presidio, and the Los Banos pool (a lovely outdoor pool). The hotel room was fine but no more than fine. It did have lots of hooks to hang coats from though... Breakfast facilities were minimal, but there was plenty of availability of free coffee and tea. We didn't see any guests using the cooker hob - slightly weird in a hotel, but if you fancied scrambling some eggs then the equipment was there. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. OK for a one night stay.

Perfect. Personnel, infrastrature, facilities and location are very good. We had a wonderful experience in our stay in La Playa Inn. We were in a road trip on the Hwy 1 route, and this hotel was one of the best experience during our journey. Very well located near to the pier and the turistic center. Congratulations.

Super nice stay and cosy, clean and fresh apartment with everything you need. Extra plus for the super silent AC. The hosts are extremely helpful and easy to reach for questions. The location are the perfect mix of quiet and cute Santa Barbara neighbourhood with just a 10 min walk to State Street with shops and cafes etc.
