The home and the location was wonderfull. Our 3 year old son is normally scared of dogs but he loved Mowi and Katla. He played every day with them. The dogs are so friendly to childeren and we enjoyed their company so much. Thank you Heima Holiday Homes for a great stay! I would recomment this place to everyone.

it seemed like a place running on its own as we haven't met any staff members (we arrived late though and left before 10am), but based on the cleanliness and organisation, there must be a group of talented people working in the background :) well-equipped kitchen, pleasant atmosphere, interesting communal areas. Great cottage in a very peaceful location. It has fully equipped kitchen and outside grill where we could easily prepare all food. Cottage was clean and warm. Hot water in the shower didn't have any smell, which happens in other places in Iceland.
