Very beautifully landscaped surroundings (roses in bloom, vineyard in the yard, olive trees), very large outdoor swimming pool and only 20 minutes from Matera. Will we be back? Italy is becoming so crowded it is so nice to come to a place that can be used as a base to see Matera for example, and find your home base in a picturesque environment. The restaurant serves incredible meals. There is a lot to do around there as well. There is a castle to visit and hike to find waterfalls. This place is a gem.
