Loved everything!! Breakfast was perfect, made fresh and to order as well as some items on the buffet. Staff were so lovely!! Really made you feel welcome and remembered you as it is only a small boutique hotel. Perfect number of beds by the pool also.

Everything about this hotel exudes class and elegance and all delivered with exceptionally professional, helpful and genuinely friendly staff. From start to finish we were made to feel truly welcome and valued. We relaxed by the beautiful pool overlooking the bay, enjoyed the delicious breakfast and enjoyed cocktail hour at the bar with lovely ambience and decor. The room was styled beautifully with classical modern elegance; easy to use, effective and cosy lighting; very comfortable bed and linen and a fall range of thoughtful amenities and extras such as a beach bag and daily stocked free (non alcohol) minibar. We also had an incredible culinary experience at the 4-table only fine dining restaurant BATU which is an experience not to be missed! This is a fully immersive experience in which every team member plays a key role to deliver something unique. Virginia at guest services went over and beyond to help organise transfers, specialist tours and dining experiences. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the main drag, but the hotel organises transfers in case you don't feel like the walk. The hotel also organises beach club access for a minimum fee should you wish to have a day at the beach. We will be back for sure. Thank you for looking after us so well.

The location was superb, however what made our stay the best was the warm welcome we received from staff and our entire stay, their willingness to assist with every query or request we had, their helpfulness and service were exemplary. Flavia at reception organized a driver to pick us up from the airport, Nelly and Danilo at reception couldn’t do more to make our stay special. The staff at the restaurant were also an integral part of our experience being wonderful. I can’t name all the staff, too many to mention, but needless to say, we have decided to return again because of them. Thank you for your efforts.

First of all, the staff: they're incredible. Our stay was a honeymoon stay and they exceeded our expectations on all levels--there when you needed them and not when you didn't. We were able to enjoy the amazing Dior spa for a treatment which was one of the best we've ever had and the overall classic Sicilian vibe of the property/grounds is hard to match. Yes, the ultra-expensive Four Seasons down the street is also an incredible (and famous property) but for the value, charm, and equally grand history the Belmond Grand Timeo really can't be beat.

Amazing location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff were extremely helpful. Rooms were lovely and we received a free upgrade to a room with a gorgeous view.

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, La Plage Resort is set directly on its free private beach, within the Isola Bella Nature Reserve. It features rooms and bungalows with garden or sea views.
