5-Star Hotels in Diani Beach

This is my second stay at this resort. The first time I was there with my ex, which kinda ruined that trip. This time I was with the person that cared about me and I cared about her. So the second time was the charm for me. Let me share our pros and cons about this place: PROs: - Really nice service. The staff goes an extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. - They have an amazing selection of drinks at their two bars. Also their food (aside from breakfast - see the cons) was very nice. They had a nice selection in their menu so you won't run out of options during your stay. - They have an ice-cream shop that serves amazing ice-cream and sherbets on the premises. That was a great addition to our stay during a 30C weather. - They have a very clean pool with nice lounges nearby. All in nicely shaded area, where you can order a cocktail or a snack right by the pool. - The ocean was amazingly clean. It didn't have a lot of sea weed, or garbage. And the sand was soft and pleasant for a walk or a morning/evening run/stroll. On top of that there weren't many beach boys to annoy you. There were some, but not that many. - They have an iPhone/Android app that has all the options needed for guests: from checking your balance, to giving you times when the food is served, to showing you the list of amenities, to giving you an ocean tide map. Very professional. I have never seen any other resort that had their own app. - We had a couple of massages at their spa. It was very relaxing and we liked it a lot. - They have a very nice gym on the premises. So you can work out if you want to stay in shape. They also have a yoga studio, if that's your thing. - They offer all kinds of extras: from scuba diving lessons to fishing, etc.

Great experience. Secluded vibe. Immediately was made to feel very comfortable. I definitely would go back.

I stayed at the Maji Hotel for 5 nights in January 2023 and it really could not have been better. I would recommend the Maji to anyone going to Diani. The staff was very friendly and helpful, my room was clean and comfortable, and the beach views were breathtaking. I didn't want to leave! I also really enjoyed the food. I had the half-board option and I thought there were good options for breakfast and dinner. There was a lot of variety in the choices and I think you could stay for at least a week (probably more) and order different things for every meal. I was travelling solo and would recommend the Maji to other solo travelers. It was so relaxing and the beach was beautiful - probably the best beach I have been to.

Everything 😍😍😍😍!!! I was blown away. My friend too. We really didn’t want to leave and would gladly come back in a heartbeat 💗

The Breakfast was superb, and I prefer having it in my room due to curious monkeys that can snatch the food on the table.

Proximity to facilities, the staff especially the reservation manager Jacob…….he customized everything for us as much as he could and it was just amazing. He is an excellent manager who is customer oriented

Clean, quiet, and comfy. Value for money. Still new, and hopefully, they keep it that way. The only issue was the manager screaming that actually woke me up around 9 am. Otherwise, everything else was supa.

The location, the activities including kid’s activities

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The ocean is in walking distance, and the location is very quiet. The owner was very friendly. Overall, it was a very nice experience staying here.
