Excellent Location Supper friendly staff made really made us it’s our home. Specially so flexible for meal times etc unlike many other hotel restrict the guests for last meal, breakfast time etc. there is nothing like that here and they go really out of their way to make sure that we are well comfortable.

Hemantha, the owner and manager of hotel and his son Dulana have built a truly beautiful pearl in the middle of the rainforest. With excellent English, they took care of us and fulfilled all our wishes. This is our fifth time in Sri Lanka, but we visited Kitulgala for the first time during our travels and I can recommend this area to everyone to visit. Waterfalls in the middle of the forest and rafting on the river are among the great experiences that this hotel offers you at a very fair price. And then you can let yourself be pampered in the comfort of the hotel with great food and enjoy a bath in the beautiful natural pool or right in the small clean river that flows around the hotel. Everything about our stay was incredible. The staff made our stay extra special. Our room had a private pool which faced the jungle and it was very relaxing to enjoy a dip in the heated pool while being inside the jungle and listening to the river water flowing below. We had monkeys visiting our balcony in the morning. The retreat is facing the river and featured a natural pool for guests to enjoy. Indoneel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and pleasure, he has even surprised us with a romantic candle dinner. Lalith, the Chef, prepared amazing meals for us and was super kind and friendly too. The retreat had an accommodation for our driver which was a great gesture. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay there again. P.S. they said the food there was halal, which was a great addition
