Good location. Lovely grounds lit up for Christmas, comfortable hotel furnishings of a timeless character and tastey breakfast. Staff were friendly and considerate as we had to cut our stay short due to a bereavement and was not a problem for the staff who facilitated a refund. They were also considerate and kind under the circumstances.

The Clanard Court Hotel is situated in Athy, Kildare, just a 10-minute walk from Athy Train Station. It offers spacious rooms with free internet access, a brasserie and free parking.

We liked literally everything! Breakfast was great, dinner at the golf club was so tasty, we had a lovely experience in the spa. Nothing felt rushed…The castle itself is beautiful and cozy . The staff was so friendly and helpful . Our room was clean , the bed was so comfort I didn’t wanna get out of it (lol). It was our 4th anniversary and I must say we had the best time ever!! The 18th century home is about an hour SW of Dublin and for the price point, it was perfect for our trip. The house was gorgeous and well taken care of. In the morning she fixed us a full Irish breakfast and was able to accommodate the gf dietary restrictions. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.
