The hosts are very nice, friendly and kind. Great breakfast, the apartment was very nice, spacious, beautiful bathroom, comfortable beds. Everything was clean and perfect. The single room was wonderful, newly renovated, comfortable, decent size and I enjoyed the breakfast. The parking was great - big spaces and under cover. The family who run the guesthouse were very friendly and helpful - I was not familiar with the area at all but they gave tips on where to go. They spoke English well which I was very grateful for. I was given the Burgenland card with the stay which gives discounts at lots of local attractions like free entry to beaches/pools in the area. The location was great too - close to the centre of Illmitz, walking distance to restaurants and bike rental at Radverleih Mürner so it was easy to rent a bike there and explore the area, including the big lake - I think this area is great for cyclists. Overall I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to others!

It was a delightful stay, we largely thank to the friendly owner. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome with a wonderful glass of wine, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we could even choose any wine from the drink list! A thoughtful touch was when she learned that my husband likes gin; she graciously offered him a glass to enjoy. The hotel also provides free parking in their garden or right outside the house, which was very convenient. Breakfast was a treat, featuring a selection of jams, various cheeses and hams, fresh fruit, and several types of bread. It was a great way to start the day!
