Nathalia is fantastic and a great host. The hotel is quiet, beautiful and pursues one of the best views of Ilha Grande. I went by boat and it is very close to the blue lagoon and also from Angra.

It was like living in the among the plants. Its away from the party area so you can actually get some sleep. breakfast was simple and amazing, i had carried my own gf bread with me which of course was not enough for all the days. but upon realising the staff provided gf bread during breakfast. They also had tea time ( coffee/ tea+ snacks) -- loved it. They have a common room up front, nice place to chill.

The entire Palmas coast is just beautiful, and the location is perfect if you want to do trails that will take you to beautiful beaches, and also its close to Abraao which is the center of the island where you have the shopping center and many restaurants. Palmas is really a hidden gem, I got to speak with the locals and really understand the history of the island. This is a mom and pop shop, so you will really enjoy the cozy service and hospitality. Get ready to live a real authentic ilha grande experience.

We liked everything about this hotel. The free shuttle from and to the port was a treat, the views were to die for, the breakfast was delicious with a magnificent view. The lady who was the manager was awesome. I highly recommend this hotel
