Alf is a quiet village directly next to the Moselle river with a few restaurants and is good for an overnight stay. The hotel owner was friendly and ran the local Italian Restaurant and Ice Cream place. The room was comfortable and clean, it was about 100 yards from the Italia Restaurant where breakfast is taken. If you like walking then this is a good base with great views if you get to the top of the lookout tower above the loop in the Moselle..

The room was lovely, clean with nice amenities. Our host was kind and helpful. The breakfast was delightful and our host made a pot of hot chocolate for my daughter. If you like wine you won’t be disappointed. They have award winning wines. I purchased a case to take home. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

Friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast selection very good, and had 3 excellent dinners (12 seater restaurant mainly for guests, so recommend reserving since limited options in the village). Quiet location even though adjacent to Mosel Wine Route. Modern bathroom, and comfortable beds (medium firmness). Off-road parking 20 meters away.

Barbara is an excellent host. She welcomed us very well. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view. We arrived late and tired and asked about a restaurant and she recommended a very good one nearby. The breakfast was good. I highly recommend her place and would definitely come back.
