It is a very beautiful place. We received a warm welcome from the host, with complimentary snacks. Very clean, big room, comfortable beds, chairs on the balcony where you can enjoy a gorgeous view. Free parking, nice pizzeria close by and a beautiful park with multiple trails just behind the hotel. The breakfast was rich with options and very tasty. We had a grand time!

This guest house is a historic building dating back to the 1936 Winter Olympics. The Olympiahaus is located directly beside the ski jumps in the Bavarian winter resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

We arrived on the very first day of the hotel’s reopening after renovations. They are still finishing some work, but everything in the room was brand new, fresh, with soft clean bedding and a beautiful view. When we arrived at check-in time, we were asked to wait for two more hours, but later they kindly gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The lady at the reception was very pleasant and helpful — thank you to her, and we wish the team good luck with finishing the renovations!

The room was comfortable, very nicely expanded by the balcony with view. Two other points stand out. One was the quality of the dinner and breakfast, both of which were absolutely superb, beyond expectations. The second was the memorable hosts: kind, helpful, gracious.
