We loved this place! The location was great, situated at the foot of the old hilltop town and right across the street from the beach promenade with its outstanding restaurants. It has been recently renovated by the new owner, for whom it was a labor of love. The room was cozy and tastefully decorated, as was the hostal itself. The staff and the owner were incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating.

Breakfast was delicious with fresh baked croissants, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice, every day in addition to ordering a fresh cooked dish. The restaurant was a lovely outdoors terrace. A nice touch was supplying beach towels and beach chairs to take to the rocky beach which was about 6 min walk.

Terra de Mar is located in Calpe's old town, 1312 feet from El Arenal Beach. It offers a terrace bar and air-conditioned rooms with a hydromassage shower, free Wi-Fi and private balcony.

The room was so clean, had a great AC, and honestly we will be staying here again when we come to visit family in Spain. Such a good quality hotel for the price and location.
