San Sebastian is a gem. Pension Kursal is in a wonderful location in the less touristy neighborhood of Gros. 2 minutes from beach, 10 minutes from train and bus station and a quick walk over a bridge to old town. The Staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. San Sebastian is the most expensive city in Spain but well worth it.

David was really welcoming and gave us really useful information about the area. It’s a 25 minute stroll along the promenade into the old town and the shops and bars close to the property are not to missed either.

-Staff: the staff that greeted us went above and beyond by illustrating what to do in San Sebastian on a map patiently and answering all our questions!! Seriously good service -The entire place was very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with a coffee machine etc -The beds were very comfortable - just the perfect amount of firmness. -The room we had led to a private balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. It was absolutely lovely. It also had its own shower and sink.

The host was super nice. We didn't have bathroom inside of our room, but we had a private, clean and spacious bathroom next to our room. The location was great. You can walk to the old town and the beach easily. I was happy that we could have parasols and beach towels.
