The location is unbeatable—right across the street from the Cathedral and around the corner from Calle Laurel. We were able to check in early. Very good service…una señora simpática did our laundry same day for 5 euro.

Wonderful location close to the cathedral, on the Camino, lots of dining and shopping options. The hostel is 2 floors up, so above street level noise, clean, friendly, secure, small balcony on our room, en suite shower and toilet, modern upgrades, no curfew! Also, just a 10 minute walk to/from the bus station.

The family-run Pensión Calfred II is just 10 minutes’ walk from the old town of Logroño. It offers great value rooms. All accommodations at the Calfred II is practical and light.

Absolutely adored the staff at the front office. Initially booked 2 nts coming from Madrid before commencing my Camino Frances from Logroño, and decided to add an extra night to enjoy the city a little bit more. Lobby smelled wonderful. The property is stylish, spotless, highly functional with waiting area at the lobby and overflow in the breakfast / lounge / cinema area towards the cloistered terrace that provides sunlight, alfresco eating areas and native plants overflowing their walls to a built in water feature. (The water feature was dry when I was there, but it might possibly be a pilgrim foot soak? If so, that would be lovely). Room was compact but had everything I needed for a comfortable 3 night stay. Shower pressure & temperature were excellent, free flowing drains, plenty of lighting and charging points. Excellent WIFI. Staff was also able to print off Paq Correos manifest for me to attach to my suitcase for forwarding along the Camino. They also doubled checked that I had gone online to book the pick-up - as I suspect some pilgrims have left without doing so, so I LOVE that the three different women whom I dealt with at reception are professional and kind - especially when they get gruff / demanding travellers.
