Oh WOW what a fantastic stay we had at the Lodge, from the chocolates and the warmth of the Lodge to the beautiful fragrance when you step through the door. It was cosy, warm, quiet, extremely clean, also the correspondence with Julie was very warm and welcoming. It was everything we thought it would be. Thank you Julie and Alistair for a lovely stay.

Such a lovely place where you feel very welcome. Its about 30 minutes to the ferry of Harwich.

The Chudleigh is located close to Clacton-on-Sea's pier, seafront and shopping centre.

Everything, such a delight to stay at this property. Wonderful warm greeting on arrival, Carol and Peter were great hosts. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Location was close to the water and very handy for our touring. So happy we chose this great little hotel to end our UK travels at.

Room was warm and clean as was the shower, although quite weak pressure, and bed, which was also very comfortable. Staff are always very welcoming and helpful and very much fits the bill for my purpose for travel there, which I do several times a year
