I had five lovely days at the Victoria. The room is very cozy, with every amenity I needed. The big window overlooks the church cemetery, and I found the scenery peaceful and calming. The landlords of the Inn are warm and kind. I dined at the inn (pub downstairs) too and loved the food. I loved coming down the stairs before bed and having a half pint of mulled cider! Everyone I met at the Inn was friendly. I felt home.

From start to finish our visit was amazing. Rina and Ian are lovely hosts who are both incredibly hard working. The property is well kept from inside and out with a warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door to when you leave. All the food is also amazing and sourced locally which is an added extra bonus for me. Thank you Rina and Ian once again.

Wonderfully authentic hotel & pub in the Yorkshire Dales. Quiet, beautiful little village, time has stood still here (in a good way). Food was great (delicious chicken & mushroom pie, and, never had such rich mash before). Room very cozy, lots of atmosphere, bed slept really good. Lovely people, will come again for sure!
