Everything! Very homely and warm, it felt like an enjoyable and authentic experience. Above all, the treatment is fantastic - all needs were covered no matter big or small. A lovely home feeling in this hostel. From the initial warm meeting from the owner (thank you) until leaving I felt very relaxed. I used the twin room on this trip and found it spacious and very comfortable. The communal areas are well spaced out and the kitchen well equipped. Plenty of seating in the dining room area to enjoy meal/breakfast without cluttering the kitchen. Parking , bike areas and drying areas available. On edge of a lovely town within a 15min walk ... this is an excellent decision to stay.

Lovely location, spacious bright room, good tea & coffee facilities with complimentary treats. Breakfast was excellent. Hosts were so welcoming & helpful. I would absolutely recommend Buchan to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Borders region.

This small country inn is situated in the centre of Moffat, a former spa town where national bard Robert Burns was one of the many visitors who came here to take the waters.

Great location, center of town. Super staff. Had to leave before breakfast our last day and they made us a lunch to take with us. Great food, very full breakfast and both dinners were very tasty. The lamb was exceptional. The folks in the bar and the sales people around town were super friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful time on a river walk and at the museum. I could live in sweet Moffat easily.

Amazing owners. Happy to help with any questions. Easy parking on site.Comfortable newly renovated room. Different choices of teas to enjoy in a quaint little teapot. Largest bath towels I have ever seen in any accommodation. Information file provided useful. Bright and airy. Location perfect. Walking distance to quiet resteraunt for breakfast and evening meal.River walks. Great town history. Friendly people happy to chat. Need more than one night. Great value for money.
