Lovely and clean, great attention to detail on everything in the room. Rachael was very accommodating with regard to a later arrival time and adding my son's friend to the booking at short notice.

Was an amazing stay, the apartment is lovely and very clean, the bed is comfortable and the location is very good as well, walking distance from the main street.

This accommodation is great for people who want to do their own thing, but have help if they need it. Keith is a lovely chap and was always available and ready to help; he was friendly and chatty, without being invasive or clingy. I hadn't realised that there was a toilet and sink in the room, so that was a nice surprise - much better than having to go downstairs to the shared bathroom during the night! The accommodation felt more like a house share (with nice housemates). The whole place was clean but not sterile like those hotels that feel like a people filing cabinet. The African decor was very novel and homely, and the garden - complete with pretty fairy lights - was just delightful. The location is great for people who love the countryside, but want the convenience of a town. The horse field nearby, access to the Sowe Valley walk from neighbouring Bridgeacre Gardens and the 200-year-old cottage itself made you feel like you were in the countryside, but you have buses into town every ten minutes and a large shopping centre (Greggs, Morrisons, Asda, Marks and Spencer, Costa etc) just a 5-10 minute walk away, so although breakfast is not included, it is easy to get something tasty nearby. The Toby Carvery just a short distance away does enormous roast dinners for just £7.99 Mon-Fri (vegan and vegetarian options available). Coventry city centre is looking particularly flash these days after the City of Culture investments. Tons of new cultural highlights. My favourites: Coventry Music Museum (on Ball Hill), Herbert Art Gallery, Fargo Village, the old and new cathedrals, mediaeval Spon Street, Coombe Abbey, Allesley Village, Kenilworth Castle.

It was really clean and the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful!! I really liked the shower. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was really clean too.
