The location was perfect, a bit away from central Moni. Billy, our host, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He can make the best recommendations on your route and what to see. Location was great and on the steep slope towards the river. There was a friendly gecko that ate all the bugs and my kids named Fred. He’s good luck.

The kindest and most welcoming hosts, set in the beautiful location of Moni. Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village. We fully recommend if you want a homestay that make you feel like part of their family!

Great location for Kelimutu. Very sweet landlady. In nice weather, you have a balcony looking over the whole village. There’s a very atmospheric bar/restaurant about five mins away that does really good live music. We got invited to a local holy communion which was a crazy introduction to local culture. Very welcoming local community.

That was our best accomodation in Moni (and we stayed in 3 different ones). The family is very welcoming and helpful, they helped us with the motorbike renting when it didn't work anywhere else in the village. The room was perfect, very clean and spacious. We recommend it 100%!

Tobias is a really helpful host, he had solutions for all our requests. The room was big and clean and the location is very good to climb to the kelimutu. We could rent a scooter directly at the bintag lodge.

What a lovely place. White, clean bedding and towels. Very clean rooms with fan although not needed. Hot shower and breakfast too much for us but best banana pancakes and ginger coffee! Haagi and her family were amazing, nothing too much trouble for them. Had dinner on one night curry with fish and tofu. Haagi speaks excellent English, she also helped with our trip to the Volcano. Unfortunately torrential rain stopped any other planned visits. Restaurant and bar next door, good food and a Bintang. We stayed for 3 nights and no complaints NO WIFI IN THE WHOLE OF THE VILLAGEl

    Tam and Augustine are very good hosts, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Exceptional traditional Indonesian dinner by Augustine was a feast and tasty breakfast. Spacious clean room and bathroom with hot shower. Tam helped organise ongoing transport for us and scooter hire. Lovely garden and view of valley and mountains. Quiet and peaceful place. Thanks for having us stay 🙂

    Hosts were super friendly and offered to make us a local dinner and also helped out when we had a flat tire which needed to be fixed. Great location with a pretty view and nice and clean rooms (hot water in the shower), included a nice breakfast with lots of fruits. Thanks again!

    We had a short but very good stay in Joseph's guesthouse! It was the most beautiful room we stayed in on our three-week trip through Flores: very modern, clean, large bathroom and an area to relax sitting outside. The host was very nice and helpful. We would love to come back at any time!
