It feels incredibly authentic. For anyone staying here, I'd just say trust the process, the host is the sweetest little old man who hosts really fun karaoke evenings. It wasn't what we expected going into it but this place gave us some great laughs and memories for life.

3-5minute walk to the bus stop (we caught the bus from Mt Fuji station). The rooms were sparkling clean, tatami mats were comfier than our previous hotel beds, the kitchen was great for cooking a home cooked meal with full utensils available. The free bikes were a highlights for us! We used them for a full day and got to visit local food spots (Yamanaka Terrace was our favourite cafe), bike up a hill to a short 20minute view spot of Mt Fuji, and around Lake Yamanaka. The owner was super hospitable and helpful. We hope to come back and visit again one day 😊 thank you!

Everything was perfect. The hosts are incredibly kind and the place is very nice and comfy. It's a bit further from the other lakes but there are buses to go to Kawaguchi-ko and then from there to the other lakes

I would recommend anyone to stay at this guesthouse, the house itself is wonderful, the bedroom’s are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and the jet bath is an added bonus. The location is amazing with so much to do around that area, lots of hikes and places to cycle and enjoy the scenery. The hosts are amazing and couldn’t do enough for me, they really went above and beyond. I hope to come back in the future and stay here again. Thank you so much for everything.
