The property was in a nice location close enough to Iiyama Station. The hosts were some of the nicest people we have met and drove us to and from the station (6:30am!!). One of the comfiest places we have stayed and hope we can go back soon.

By far our favourite stay in Japan! The room and facilities were good, but the reason the stay was so great was the owners, who really went out of their way to make us feel at home with fantastic food, helping us get to and from the piste, giving us great tips and generally being fantastic hosts. We'll definitely come here again if we're heading back to Madarao in the future.

The warmest place we’ve stayed! Staff were really nice and everything was tidy. The room was warmed for us when we arrived and when we returned after skiing it was easy to rewarm the room!
