The hosts were very friendly and helpful and kind to our children; they made the stay feel like a family visit. We loved the big room with comfy beds and a tatami breakfast area. We also liked the onsen-style private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. The location was in a small quiet street close to the bus- and train station, and for the people with more stamina even within walking distance of the old town and central shopping areas.

It was such a cute place nice Japanese design. We definitely got the kyoto vibe right when we walked in. The living room and bedroom was spacious compared to other places in Japan. It was clean and looked fully equipt with a kitchen and laundry. Check in and check out was really convenient with a lockbox. The location is also a bonus and walking distance to many restaurants, like Uzu vegan ramen. We really enjoyed this place and would recommend it!

The boss was great, it seemed he saw a lot of foreigners before, he clearly could explain everything in English when he saw me struggling with my Japanese. Mr Moriyo and his partner were amazing hosts. They were super kind to provide us with a temple ticket for free and had given good attention to the details including having our tea ready for the check-in and through out our stay. Breakfast was exceptionally good! They helped us make reservations and gave the attention needed when I was desperately in need of their help.
