This guesthouse earns highest ratings! It starts with the owner, who shared useful information upfront. Upon arrival, Kai instructed us extremely well into the house and the facility. The house itself is in mint shape and offers everything for a perfect stay. It’s a very authentic house that let’s one enjoy rural Japan. We couldn’t use the outside facilities due to the weather but could well imagine how cozy the front yard would be during the summer. We will definitely come back to this beautiful retreat. Thanks again for having us!

Our room was definitely idiosyncratic, with a great mixture of flea-market findings, real and almost antiques, big windows and lots of space. Public areas were also fun, continuing the comfortable, off-beat vibe. A little frayed at the edges, though very clean. Friendly staff.

I really enjoyed staying at this place. It's clean, comfy and has everything required. It exceeded my expectations for the price. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. The host doesn't speak much English, but there are English instructions throughout the property.
