Wonderful guest house in dondet island, the location of accommodation is facing to river and sunset view in our room have A/C, Hot shower and balcony with hammock where we can see the most beautiful sunset view, they have free pick up from the pier but we walk to see the island and it's not too far from pier to accommodation about 5 minutes and they have bicycles for rent 1 day 30,000 kip or 1.5 dollars, next to our accommodation there is good restaurant they serve good food same owner and they very friendly family thank you for your help and hope we meet you again

This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

Best Guesthouse in Don Det. Beautiful house directly at the river front. Cute balconies with hammocks, seperated from each other with wodden gitters to not restrict the view. Super clean. Very friendly owner. She arranged both of our transfers and everything went perfectly. The location was perfect, 5 min walk to the city centre but quiet for the evenings.

Loved laying in the hammocks, looking out over the river, particularly at sunset. Room was clean and plenty big enough. Shower was hot. Staff were friendly. Close to lots of bars and restaurants, and easy walking distance of the port.

The view from both sides of the room with big windows! Spacious room with enough space to put stuff: wardrobe & desk included. I found the bed quite comfortable. Also the chairs and the table outside for each room is a plus. very friendly and sweet people. The location is also great - 1 minute to 5 minutes by feet you find two of the best restaurants of the whole island. Very much recommended: Oi‘s place & vixay sunset view. Also nearby a bar with books called the library with great live music :)

Nice place by the riverside with an amazing view! The room is super nice, and it's the perfect place to stay if you want to be in a calm and peaceful area :)
