This is an absolutely amazing place with a lovely story behind and super friendly staff. Spacious and clean room, comfy bed, AC & Fan. The best food we had in sri lanka during our 2 weeks trip. The pool is amazing w/clean water and big green garden carefully taken care of. The owner and each family member went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, provided all the information, explanation, helpful tips. Nothing could be better !!!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is truly unbeatable.It offers a calm and private atmosphere, being right next to the beach, which made it perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure I felt comfortable. To top it off, the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at Goalie Beachfront Resort. It's a beautiful luxury resort with stunning views in every direction. What truly amazed me was how seamlessly it blends with its surroundings—offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean from the private front balcony, and serene views of the wetlands from the back balcony. One of my favorite moments was enjoying the delicious breakfast from the in-house restaurant while watching the sunrise over the wetlands. The food was absolutely delicious. The resort also features a tropical garden with coconut trees private swimming pool with a jacuzzi, where I spent some relaxing time sunbathing and unwinding. The staff were incredibly friendly and always available whenever I needed assistance. The resort is located near to Hikkaduwa town. There are many things to do around this area like snorkelling, turtle farm, river safari etc. Since it’s close to the main road, getting around is easy—whether by public transport or tuk-tuk. The staff even arranged our airport transfer at a very reasonable price. You can rent a scooter from here as well. I will definitely be coming back to this amazing place next year!

I recently had the pleasure of spending a few days at this magnificent hotel, and I cannot express enough how wonderful my stay was! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each meal was a delightful experience, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to every taste. I found myself eagerly anticipating each dining experience. The hotel grounds are a true paradise. The gardens are beautifully maintained, providing a serene and tranquil atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. And the proximity to the stunning sea added an extra touch of magic to my stay. The sound of the waves and the breathtaking views were simply unforgettable. I must also commend the management for creating such a remarkable environment. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence is evident in every corner of the hotel. Overall, my experience was nothing short of fabulous. I wholeheartedly give this hotel five stars and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect getaway. Piyal welcomed us very warmly. Also his little son and daughter we met are super sweet and friendly. We got a welcome drink and piyal told us a lot about the plants and fruits in his garden.This was very informative. Packed our lunch in boxes to bring it to the beach. Also he gave as a lot of good advice what to do and where to go in Sri Lanka and helped with the bus. So you see, very helpful at any time with any topic!

Everything! Beautiful house, garden and pool situated nearby the beach. The sound of waves in the garden is very peaceful. Smaller details are considered, eg mattress on sun beds, several towel types. Highly flexible and caring hosts - thank you for driving us around and cooking great food! They did their upmost for our satisfaction, and we actually extended our stay from 1 to 4 nights. Highly recommendable! One note on turtle nesting: very possible and easily accessible from the villa. Please, be a good tourist and respect the turtles. That means 1) do not disturb with white lights, 2) keep silent, and 3) don’t touch them! (Bacteria may kill them and other turtles). Regarding hatcheries, find a place that releases babies within 1 (max 2) days of hatching - otherwise, they have minimal chance of surviving according to National Geographic
