Paba is a cool guy. He was very kind to us, allowing us to borrow and umbrella in the rain and letting us be late with the checkout due to a slow breakfast in town. Great space near both beaches and some nice restaurants. Would love to be back sometime.

I originally booked for one night and ended up staying for seven! That’s how lovely my time at Mango Hiriketiya was. The room is spacious, the bed is comfy, and the ceiling fan is just right (I even felt cold some nights, which was perfect if you like sleeping with a sheet). The best part of the house is the family, super warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind. They greet you with a juice on arrival, serve a simple and delicious breakfast every morning, and sometimes offer a snack or tea in the afternoon. I was lucky to be there during Poya Day and they even invited me to join them for the local parade. The communication with them is also top! The room is upstairs with a private entrance, and there’s a kitchen available for basic cooking and a dining table. They helped me with my laundry as well. It’s located close to the main road and a short walk to the beach. I enjoy walking, so for me, the location was perfect.

Host family were so lovely. They have also just opened a restaurant which we had dinner at twice it was so good. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Air conditioning worked really well. Easy walk to the shops and beach.

10/10 I would totally recommend this place. its a new place that opened not that long ago!:)10 min walk to the beach and very kind owners. The room was very modern, especially the bathroom was very nice! Included was a hairdryer and also a umbrella which I think is very cute!

The room is big, the bed is big, the bathroom is big. Everything worked perfect, wifi, air conditioning. The breakfast I could chose between english or local food. They also offered laundry-service and I could always say at which time I would like to have the breakfast! The garden is cute and you can see a lot of animals. By night the garden looks also very nice with the string of lights. The location of the room was perfect for me. Its a quiet place but still very close to many things. Nearby are restaurants, a very good spa with very good massages. When you walk towards the beach you will soon find a ATM, littlr supermarket and some shops. Also you will find a very nice gym; fitness jungle, with ice bath and Muay Thai sessions. In front of the fitness jungle you will have a nice smothie cafe with healthy food. Just go to the beach if you want to surf! But the most important about the room was the host, Iresh and his family, they are very friendly and I felt very welcome! During my stay in this room I could always text Iresh if needed something and he could always help me! I would definitly recomend this room! I also got a take away breakfast when I left!

The host was just beyond nice and helpful! If you need help you can always contact him and get a quick answer. It’s very quiet here and also located close to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was so perfect. Very nice family and the owner speaks very well English. Good place (5 min walk from blue island beach), room with fan is very clean with a beautiful view!! The bed is so comfortable with a mosquito net. The bathroom is super clean and you have warm water. We tried both breakfast and it was really tasty ! The massage is amazing (I did full body and my fiancé did back and neck). Special point for the German Sheperd dog which is very cute. It’s our best homestay so far (25 days in Sri Lanka)
