The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Thanks for having us :)

Sada was amazing host, and Amis the helper was wonderful. I stayed there durring the low season, and we are lucky to get the spacious room with low season rate. And we end up staying for 10 days. The room super comfy, with hot shower and bath up. There is mini fridge, and also they let me used their kitchen to have barbeque with some friends and free used washing machine. And also this open windows with the garden view. The location. Was perfect it's so close to jungle beach and so quiet. To the main beach only 7 minutes drive.

These days in the hotel were like at home. We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs Dias and their wonderful daughter Goony for such a warm and friendly welcome. We are vegans, that's why it's tough sometimes to find a place to eat with appropriate options for us. However, in this hotel owners made their best. The food was prepared specially for us according to our needs including plant-based protein, carbohydrates and fresh fruits and vegetables. The food tasted fabulous! Moreover the staff was nice, the room was clean and quite. So we had everything for a great vacation. We really appreciate such high-quality customer service this hotel provided us. Highly recommend this place and we hope to get back someday!

1. The location is very nice, right across the street you find a passage to the beach, after a few minutes walking you are at the turtle beach and parrot rock. Next to it is Mirissa beach. On the other side, 5 min walk to the coconut beach where is perfect view of sunset. Also worth mentioning, right next door there is a shop for water. And opposite there is a fruit bar, everyday we grab a cool coconut before going back to the room. 2. The room is very spacious! Plenty of space to store our luggage and stuff. Nice balcony also. The pillow is soooo comfortable. Everything else was new and in good condition. Room was very clean as well. We were provided also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. 3. The hosts are so nice and kind! They always smile and have been very helpful! 4. The garden also has place to hang and dry tithe clothes.

Chaminda and his family were wonderful hosts at the Rusara Guest House. The property is in an excellent location, right next to the beach and extremely close to restaurants, gym, etc. It is about 10-15 min walk to the Cargills supermarket. The rooms were very nice and clean and the A/C worked well. The property has a small kitchen and fridge that can be used, as well as outdoor table and couches for lounging. You could easily stay here for several months and have everything you need. Would recommend 10/10!

Friendliest woman of all time runs this accommodation. I can't recommend staying here enough. Smack dab in the middle of Mirissa, right across the street from the main beach, but the other breaks aren't too far away. The rooftop view of the place is beautiful and that is where you eat the best, locally made Sri-Lankan breakfast of all time. So much food and everything was soooooo good. Room was neat and large with a large, nice bathroom.

We got a room for a very low price. When we arrived at the end of the day, the hoster gave us a warm welcome with cool towels and passion fruit juice. A clean room and a fully equipped bathroom and a room with all the amenities. Also got a very fast and excellent Internet connection. Very quiet environment and surrounded by trees. Since it is located in the center of Mirissa, it is within walking distance to everywhere. A place that can be highly recommended for tourists visiting Mirissa.
