It was a very clean and beautiful accommodation. The garden has a mango tree and we even saw some monkeys. A few steps away is a local vegetable and fruit market, we enjoyed. Breakfast and dinner was amazing! It was cooked by the hosts. They even helped us to buy something we lost on our journey and what is very hard to get in this area of Sri Lanka. Additionally we got great sight seeing insides. This guest house was.perfect for us.

Review: An Unforgettable Stay at Lake Cabin Our stay at Lake Cabin was absolutely magical! The view was the most breathtaking we have ever seen— view of swimming monkeys, water buffalo, and countless beautiful birds was an experience we will never forget. The owner was amazing—so friendly and welcoming. He went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He even brought us breakfast at 5 AM before our early morning safari, which was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We also highly recommend the cooking class hosted by his sister and niece. It was a fantastic experience, and we learned so much about local cuisine while enjoying a warm and friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a place with stunning nature, exceptional hospitality, and unique experiences, Lake Cabin is the perfect choice!

The accomodation is perfect for visiting the archeological sights in Polonnaruwa, as it is very close to the museum and the park. It is beautifully situated close to rice fields and the rooms are very nice, clean and bright. The famliy ist very helpful and friendly - thanks again a lot! The breakfast was superb, including a lot of Sir Lankan food and fresh fruits and the family did even buy some special exotic fruits that i asked for. So if you spend some days in Polonnaruwa i can definitely recommend to stay at Man Guest.

Room is very big, with comfortable beds. Very quiet location. Hot water works very well, there is even a toothpaste. WiFi works very well. We had no mosquitoes. To the historical part you can cycle by bicycle , there is a path, you don’t have to cycle on the highway. The juices are very tasty.

great hosts who helped us with cycle hire for the ancient city and onward transport. The property is tucked away from the main road so is quiet but close to the ancient city entrance. Very reasonably priced for what you get.

The guest house is a great location, just down the road from the ancient city and I rented a bike to go and explore it. Food was amazing from the host, some of the best I had in Sri Lanka. I would definitely recommend a stay. Especially as a solo traveller it was a nice break for two nights.
