Our stay was beyond amazing. Our room was brand new and the pool was really nice. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the manager and his family were outstanding hosts. They tried to really make us feel at home and this was definitely the best stay of our holiday.

One of the best experiences in Sri lanka trip within 3 weeks. Amazing place, not only appartment but all Rekava. Definately one of the most underrated places in Sri lanka. If you are in doubts - you definately should go there. Peace, silence, nature, ocean, turtles, amazing people - this is Rekava. Lookout lodge is excelent accomodation - new house, all clean and comfy, perfect location near the beach and turtle watch center. Good restaurant nearby (reccomended by Chami). Excelent breakfast and peacefull conversations with owner. We felt like home there and all our wishes were fulfilled with smile. And - there is a pool now - we where the first users and it is great. Appriciated by our boys. Sorry that we booked just 2 nights there, would have liked to stay at least a couple more days. The owner is so friendly and really made the stay perfect. A great cook and a great sense of humour. The room was large with a great balcony and really clean. Nearby is one of the best beaches I have been to, a real untouched gem. Ended up extending my stay as it was so lovely. Amazing wildlife to be seen from the room, peacocks and monkeys. You should stay here.

Absolutely everything! It felt like little paradise, amazing room amongst the trees, with the “open” bathroom, fresh breeze all over 😍 We just loved it! On top of everything, there are the most attentive, friendly and professional staff, Loku as the main manager was every time few steps ahead and I haven’t seen such a professional and client approach in a looong time! Would love for him to come to Czech and teach how to do it most of the facilities there :D As for the breakfast - DELICIOUS and huge and every day they surprise you with something new 😊 And - it was all much better then what you imagine from the pictures :)

We had a wonderful stay and extended it for 2 more nights. We loved the lovely hosts, they were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Also the food is amazing!! Definitely recommend everything on the menu. The room was big and clean. We loved the hammock outside our door.

This place was the peaceful tropical paradise that I was looking for. The room was simple but clean ( no bugs!) and with A/c and a large comfortable bed, it was easy to get a good night's sleep. Each room has a large private balcony from which you view the amazing bird life and playful squirrels. The large pool is clean and beautifully refreshing. Nimmie and her family could not be more helpful and attentive. She cooked anything I wanted and always greeted me with a warm smile and a cold beer! When the time came for me to leave she arranged for my transport back to Colombo and to the airport.

Modern, clean property and very close to beaches. Host and all staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious and extremely yummy. Wi-Fi excellent. Thoroughly recommend you stay here.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely beautiful – so calm, relaxing, and perfect for a peaceful getaway 🥰. The rooms were fresh, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Breakfast was amazing, fresh, and full of variety. In the evening, we enjoyed a delightful BBQ with a bonfire 🔥😊, which created such a warm and cozy atmosphere . Overall, it was definitely worth the price, and truly memorable. I would love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation and great hospitality.

    Great location. Not too far from the city centre and only like 2 mins walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean. The A/C works very well and good shower pressure as well. The host was very helpful. Gave me informations about the bus and waited with me till the bus arrived.

    A lovely, helpful family host this new homestay. Great location only 2 mins walk to the wonderful Mawella beach. Our room was large and well equipped with air-conditioning, fan and mosquito net. There is a small private patio area outside the room and a larger shared terrace with a comfy sofa. Wonderful breakfasts made freshly each morning. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for making us feel at home.
