Such a sweet family. The breakfast was enough for double the amount of people. The room is very clean and has a nice balcony. They also booked us a tuktuk and came with us to the bus station to make sure we get on the right bus safely. We felt so welcome and comfortable.

I had the BEST time here!!!!! The room was clean and very spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Laundry & meals were at a very reasonable price. The food was amazing and in huge portion. The host is the nicest and kindest person ever!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!

After some time travelling I feel safe to say that you can tell the difference between people just making money of you and people who really know what they are doing and want the best for you. And Priya only wants the best for you and he will go out of his way to give you anything you want. From picking us up at the bus stop for free, coming to get us when it started raining and we were in the city, taking us to a beautiful little safari around the lake at sunset showing us lots of birds, crocodiles and bats, recommending us which buses to take from and to other destinations, to organizing the best safari we could hope for. He recommended us to do a full day in block 1 and we are really happy we took his advice. Priya works with very experienced guides and we had an amazing safari and even though it was peak season we managed to be most of the day alone and witness the park for what it is with its beauty and variety of animals. The accomodation itself is quite simple but it was more than enough for us. Nice clean room, good wifi, good AC, good food, comfortable bed. Absolutely recommend!

We had such a great stay at Lake Face Cabana! The treehouse is right on the lake where we enjoyed relaxing and bird watching with the sunrise early in the morning. Fantastic food prepared by our hosts who are a very warm and kind family. This was a great spot to head into Yala on safari or just enjoy relaxing from the cabana balcony. We hope to return again one day - Thank you!!

Very nice and clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. They also served good Sri Lankan breakfast and had food available. When leaving, they drove us to the bus station which was very nice of them. Highly recommend this place.

It is a modest but wonderful accommodation close to Yala National Park. The accommodation is run by a very nice family. Everyone is still smiling and offering sweet tea. Here you feel more like a welcome member of the family than just a guest. The room has everything you need. There is a comfortable bed a fan and a clean bathroom. There is a wonderful quiet sitting area outside with a view of the rice field. Here you can watch the birds feeding. What more could a traveler ask for? At the end of my stay they went with me to the main street and made sure I got on the right bus. Thanks for that! It was great at your place! Thank you for your hospitality and for the perfect chat in the morning with the view from your garden! I really appreciate it. It was great! The best stay in Sri Lanka. The host was very attentive and kind. The room was very clean and big, and had a safari vibe🙂. The food was absolutely delicious - fish with pineapples was my favourite. The host organised our safari, wake us in early morning, gave us breakfast to go, and we had lunch after trip. We met an elephant on way back to hotel, and fed him with bananas. So I recommend not to eat bananas and save it for elephants) I’d recommend to stay there for 2 or 3 days, cause after safari you want to rest and lay in hammock. I”ll return to stay here, I’m sure)

The view from the treehouse is absolutely stunning. You’ll spot all different kinds of birds, squirrels, fisherman at the lake, butterflies and even watching the clouds moving was breathtaking. Meal they prepared for me was the best I had in Sri Lanka. Owned by a lovely family who welcomed me with their generous hospitality. They went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. I wish I stayed longer here. Thank you, Ishalla and family!!
