This was the place we enjoyed the most in our two months in Sri Lanka. Shas and his wife were amazing host. The place was very clean and tidy, there is a kitchen in case you would like to use it. The beach is one minute away walking and it was delightful to wake up and see the sunrise there. The garden is also very special, many spots to chill and birds to see. The breakfast was also great and the scooter for rent were very nice with a very reasonable price. We booked 3 nights and end up staying more than one week, we felt so comfortable there.

Brenda and Kajaa are amazing! Brenda is a very good cook and was always available if we needed something. She helped us to arrange our trip to Pigeon Island and arranged a boat trip for whale and dolphin watching. Additionally, the accommodation was very clean. Highly recommend this place!

The previous review was mistakenly posted for a different property. This is the correct one. I stayed here in July with a last-minute booking, but the warm welcome made me feel right at home. Upon arrival, they helped me park and quickly showed me to my room, which was very clean. There’s no air conditioning, but a pleasant breeze comes through the window, and the mosquito net allowed me to sleep comfortably even though I usually dislike bugs. The hotel is in a great location—just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. Nearby, there are shops selling beer, wine, and ice, as well as a delicious and affordable Sri Lankan restaurant right next door (takeout available). There’s no fridge in the room, but the owner kindly let me use their family fridge to chill my drinks. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always around and ready to assist with anything. As a guest, I could book snorkeling tours to Pigeon Island and dolphin & whale watching trips at a special rate. Even same-day bookings were arranged smoothly, including transport to the meeting point. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and efficient. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next time I visit Sri Lanka. Thank you to the owner and the whole family for a lovely time!

The host is such a great guy. Along with his many cars and dogs and his sweet mother, the host made my stay one I didn’t want to leave! Real life working aircon provided (not a fan— the real deal!) The room was cool on arrival and functioned perfectly. The bed and pillows were super comfy. 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants.

The hotel was perfect this place looks very nice there is a balcony on all sides. The manager was kind and very friendly .breakfast good and fresh . helpful staff. Early in morning,you can learn the sweet chirping of birds.There is a beautiful beach at a distance of 300 meters. You can find a lot of restaurants here. RKM hotel rooms and bathrooms very clean. AC working well 2-3 min walk away Central bank and beak house . Vije did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable connect us with people for a snorkeling and fishing trip. Central location....food outlets, bank atm, supermarket and train station close by. Also nice beach nearby which we did not visit due to lack of time. Basic but functional rooms in quiet environment. Host arranged tuk to rail station Rs 300. Overall pleasant stay and great value for money.
