Absolutely beautiful location in Villa Real! The drive leading into the hotel is impressive, and the main building is gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds a nature lover's paradise, very green all around, with explanations by many of the plants and trees as to what they are and how they help the environment. The food was excellent, and our breakfast basket was a real treat. We would definitely come back!

Too much to describe in words. All I can say is that I felt like we stayed with relatives, everything was absolutely spot on, especially when things didn't go according to plan and both the hosts and staff were delightful. Will return for a longer stay when I'm back up north, and this is a promise ❤️

We loved everything about this hotel. Dont judge a book by its cover...the outside and area do not do it justice. Inside, the hotel has paid attention to detail, everything you need in the rooms for a comfortable stay. Immaculately clean The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was exceptionally good with, local.produce and seasonal fresh fruits. It is within walking distance of Vila Real.

Everything was perfect. The view was breathtaking and the manager Ines, went out of her way to make us feel very welcome. She even made fresh scones every day for us. Their wines were the best. We also enjoyed the beautiful view from the jacuzzi.
