Everything was absolutely perfect. The buildng is grand as is the garden, a little oasis in the middle of the city. The rooms have been restored immaculately. We were greated with fresh lemonade and a homemade treat.

This place is an absolute gem. The house is incredibly beautiful, with a stunning location and breathtaking views. From the moment I arrived, Franck, the host, made me feel completely welcome. He is truly amazing – kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations for exploring Piton de la Fournaise and other beautiful spots, as well as excellent restaurant tips. My room, well, to be more precise the part of the house I could use, were fantastic – super comfortable, spotlessly clean, and designed with so much care that you immediately feel at home. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more. The breakfast was fantastic, and I was even welcomed with a lovely apéro – such a thoughtful touch! On my last day, I had to leave very early to catch a flight, and Franck prepared a breakfast package for me to take along. That level of hospitality is truly exceptional. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. I would love to come back – highly, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at La Carangaise. Paule is a delightful hostess, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and help us with our trip around Réunion. The studio had a fabulous enclosed terrace and an impeccable bathroom. It is just seconds from the coastline, and all in all, a lovely place to stay.

La Villa Maé is a wonderful place to stay in downtown St. Pierre. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the swimmable St. Pierre beach, as well as many local restaurants and coffee shops. The hosts are super friendly and make the stay even more enjoyable. While there isn’t designated parking, it’s easy to find a spot on the nearby streets at any time. Overall, a great villa in a perfect location!

The attention from Bernard (the host) was incredible during the 3 days we spent there, he is a charming person who also gave us very good recommendations. He has a beautiful and very cozy house. The room was spacious and the bed large and comfortable. The kitchen (outside) was simple but useful and well equipped.
