Loved our stay at Baan Jaru. From the moment I booked to the pre-stay communications and right up until we left these guys took exceptional care of us. The whole family and staff were so welcoming and helpful. The place is so close to everything. You can walk to at least a dozen restaurants within 400 metres of the property. The pad Thai down the road is amazing (and cheap!) Baan Jaru is very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. They give you free water every day. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We made sure we didn't miss it. You can have eggs, fruit, veges and chicken and toast with jam as well as coffee, tea and juice. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. They were very kind to let us have a late checkout and gave us heaps of recommendations on where to go to get furniture for our new house in Chiang Rai. Toddy was amazing to deal with and always had time to chat to us. Highly recommend staying there. You will love it. 🎉

Beautiful place full of peace. Nice decorations and love put on it. Really enjoy it. It felt like an experience being there, not just sleeping.

The house is beautiful in a nice garden with an interesting history. It has been recently renovated so all of the beds, bedding, towels is new and of high quality - very comfy bed. The location is good to walk into town and also near some interesting temples. The owner is very nice, knowledgeable about the history of the house and was helpful to organise bike rental. The breakfast was also delicious, varied and large portion.

The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a warm, home-like feel that made our stay very comfortable. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the facilities provided were excellent - everything we needed was readily available.

Good sized room; all you need with an outside covered courtyard area as extra living space. I was afraid it might be noisy but the other guests were quiet. It is in garden off of the street, quite relaxing. Loud party in a nearby bar, but the thick walls keep most of the noise out. They offered a small breakfast in the morning.
