Everything. Amazing property located very close to the city center (5-7 minutes' walk to the clock tower). Rooms are exceptionally clean with a very comfy bed. Breakfast is simple (eggs, toasts, a little bit of chicken with vege and tea/coffee), but still very tasty and fulfilling. Stuff is very friendly and welcoming (and very good in English which is not very common in Thailand). If I ever visit Chiang Rai again, I'll definitely stay at Baan Jaru.

We would have liked to stay longer than just one night. It’s a very cozy and small guest house with lovely people, we wanted to try laughter yoga but sadly had no time. An excuse to come back!

The beds are European style soft and comfortable unlike many other properties in Asia. This style of mattress is a unique find and a very good investment from the owner; on par with many 5 star hotels. It was like I was sleeping at home for a night. Vast and deep sleep. The shower was powerful and hot, again like home. Nice bathtub too! Thank you for this attention to the basics that matter.
