Awesome owner, and caretaker, that we hung out with. Plus really good food at the Restaurant! And there is so much to do when you stay with these guys :) they showed hikes, boat rides, e-bamboo-bike rent and crafts!

Superclean and well maintained room. Only 5 min walk to beach. Smart tv with working wifi was a nice cherry on top. Motorbike available for rent at location.

Very friendly staff, we were a couple with our 3 years old daughter and we felt at home or at a relative's. Quiet and nice garden, rooms are out of this world for this price. Big, convenient, brand new A/C. Everything is 2 min away with a motorbike (which you can rent there) Nice breakfast, with friendly cats hanging around...

Everything. Food in the restaurant was very nice and cheap compared to other places. Nice swimming pool. 2 Free kayaks to use. You are away from most things but there is a minimart on Ao Salad pier as well as some restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again 😁😁😁

This place is amazing 🤩 The staff are really nice and they clean every day. We rented a scooter with them and it was perfect. You have good WiFi, hot water, water to drink, coffee, tea, cacao, a fridge you can use and kitchen utensils if you need. The tent is big and comfy. The only thing is the noise and that depends on your neighbours who sometimes seem to forget that you can hear them pretty good as it's a tent... But anyway it's a really good quality for the price. We definitely recommend it !

We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

Silent spot in the jungle. Matteo is very attentive, helpful and friendly host. Very rich breakfast. Beach and fisherman's village in 2 minutes by motorbike. Motorbikes are directly available with the house.

Exellent host. You can rent a scooter also. Peaceful and quiet place to rest. And see all the island. Host made every morning differend breakfast, tasted Great!

It's an amazing place to lay back and chill. Host is a sweet lady who goes out of her way to ensure everyone has a good time. Many guests are the ones who keep coming back. Sometimes you can see turtle (yes, for real) in the waters.
