This place is yet to be discovered and get the recognition it deserves. The location is not very great, but you forget that fact soon as you enter the compound because it is quite beautiful, with amazing customer service. The design of the property is simple, modern and elegant with a mini-pool to boot. I loved the mezzanine design (which reminds me of Heritage Collection Skylight in Singapore :) and the well thought out interior, including a mini-bar fashioned dining area, well furnished kitchen, a huge smart tv infront of a comfortable couch. The staff were also super helpful and went out of their way to make you comfortable.

We definitely recommend OYA Guest House and can’t wait to come back on our next mission! The rooms were impeccably clean, the bed was the most comfortable of our entire journey, and the homemade food prepared by Jacky was exceptional. The location was magnificent, hides in the woods just out of Arusha, and way from trafic and busy areas. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful all times. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. A very wonderful stay!

Really nice, calm and clean room. Breakfast was amazing. They make whatever you like. Seems a bit outside center, but you can take the “badjadji”(tuk tuk) or taxi and you’re there in a minute. It is also ideally located if you want to visit a coffeefarm or one of the waterfalls. You can go for an organised trip or hike yourself like we did. Tip: negotiate the price for the taxi to citycenter and airport.
