It was my 4th visit to Isla bonita within the last 2 years, and I m sure this will not be the last. First of all i have to say that i didn’t look at the map while booking so i missed the fact that this guesthouse is not near any stores or restaurants. If I knew that maybe I wouldn’t book it and this would be a huge mistake! We loved this place sooooo much! We were lucky to be there all alone (me and my husband) without other guests and sometimes it really felt like home. Nice pool, nice beach, if you want anything to eat the amazing host Margaret has a menu of lunches and dinners and she is a great cook. This place is really for those who need some quiet private time. If you want to go for shopping and some other entertainment you can always ask for taxi to Nungwi. We did it once and then regretted cause this town was too busy and noisy we were happy to come back to Matumaini. Near the guesthouse there are couple of small zoos and also you can try several boat trips right from the guesthouse. Every day we had the nicest chats with Margaret and really enjoyed her company. All of the villa staff were very sweet. It broke my heart a little when we had to leave. Highly recommended, wonderful experience! Margaret we are happy to know you, miss you!

Service was on top. Victor is a really nice guy. With him we felt like staying in the friend's home. Tasty and healthy breakfast. Location near with supermarket is a good bonus, also the distance to Kendwa and to Nungwi beaches are the same so we could choose everyday.

Fantastic place! Well equipped and beautiful villa with cozy pool right in the front of the ocean. We stayed 5 nights, but this was not enough and we were sad to leave. Very friendly and helpful host and staff. Nice breakfast. I would definitely visit it again.

Nice guest house close to the beach, friendly, mindful staff, good breakfast. I specially . I was specially impressed by their commitment to the environment. There was fresh water available for the quests to fill up their empty bottles decrease the plastic waste. When we went to 3 days safari , though checked out we could leave our luggages they stored and put into the room when we got back.

Customer service here is exceptional. The room was very spacious and beautiful. The property itself is also very beautiful. The kitchen staff was amazing and served us breakfast as late as 11am. The owner is also very helpful and readily available for any inquiries.
