Newly renovated and everything worked great including the bathroom. The lighting in the room and bathroom is very nice and bright. The shower pressure is great and the water is hot. The two gentlemen are super nice and helpful. Always with a smile. I had to check out at 3 am for the airport. The super nice guy was waiting for me at checkout with a breakfast carryout bag. I was speechless. An absolutely great value and definitely on for a return visit.

Amazing location. Near to all touristic places. New building. It is near to the street but there wasn’t any noice at the night. The hotel is nice and clean, with modern rooms. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was ok, with a lot of homemade goodies. The location is good, within 20 min walk from the Registan Square and about 15 min walk from the best coffee shops in town (Doppio Specialty Coffee and Smash Coffee). The staff was really nice and polite.

Finally got some time to write down my thoughts. Of the three cities I visited in Uzbekistan, Samarkand was the most relaxing and comfortable for me. The location of this guesthouse is very friendly to tourists, with many famous cultural sites nearby. The courtyard design combines nature and tradition: there's a small park in the yard, and one wall of the hallway has a relief of Samarkand's most famous cultural landmarks (even on the restaurant wall). The other wall is adorned with traditional handicrafts and a very long, handcrafted embroidery. You know, this was hand-stitched by the hostess's grandmother—it's absolutely amazing! What's most commendable is the hostess's warmth and thoughtful service. When we first met, she enthusiastically introduced us to the accommodation details, the city's main attractions, and other travel tips. She would also efficiently and perfectly solve any problems we encountered during our stay. We stayed here for two days. On the second night, when we returned to the room, we were surprised to find it had been cleaned so thoroughly it looked as if no one had stayed there. This is something I've rarely experienced in most hotels and guesthouses, and it made me admire the hostess's incredible efficiency. The breakfast was exceptionally rich, with a variety of traditional snacks covering the table (the pictures only show a part of it). There was even warm rice porridge, which made me, an Asian, feel incredibly happy. The restaurant also had free coffee, tea, and other drinks for guests. The next morning, we had to catch a very early train, before the restaurant's working hours. What was even more surprising was that the hostess had packed us a to-go breakfast in advance, and it was still a very generous spread—a rare kind of happiness!
