The location is far enough that you feel immersed in local culture and close enough that grabs to District 1 aren't expensive at all. This is a hidden gem - I only stayed one night before flying out but would have loved to stay longer. The room is nice and quiet with a balcony where one can do yoga in the morning or relax in the hammock at night. The couple who runs it are super sweet. It’s in a great location and I loved the two dogs and cat living in the house.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Ho Chi Minh City I had a wonderful stay at Ren Hostel — a cozy and spotless place that truly felt like a home away from home. The room was warm and welcoming, with a large window that brought in lots of natural light and created an open, airy atmosphere. There is everything you need in the room. Despite being just a stone’s throw (around 20 meters) from the lively Bui Vien Street, the hostel was remarkably quiet, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. One of my favorite things was its proximity to a nearby park, where I could walk and exercise in the morning and evening. Being located in the center of the city, the hostel offered 24/7 access to food, shopping, and convenience stores. It was also easy to reach any tourist attraction or major spot in the area. I highly recommend Ren Hostel for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience in the middle of Ho Chi Minh City — all at a great price!
