Bluemari is a very special place. The Gueshouse has been designed and furnished with excellent taste to a very HIGH standard. There are lovely areas for guest use including a solar heated pool with longer & seating areas, lounge etc The breakfast was absolutely fantastic; a great selection of fresh fruits, homemade muesli, cheese & cold meats, and freshly made bread. And a selection of delicious hot dishes. The Host was very charming and accommodating. And gave us excellent advice on good local restaurants, attraction etc. It scores 10 out of 10 We will be back!!

Honestly amazing! Friendliest staff we‘ve ever met during all our travels! Marcelino and Levinia were so kind, caring and supportive all the time. The room was spacious, nice and clean and the view on the city, ocean and mountains was simply stunning.

Hout & About was our first stop in Cape Town and we absolutely loved it! Fanny welcomed us when checking in and showed us the common room which was amazing. There was coffee and tea to grab from and also fresh fruits that you can help yourself with. The view from the terrace and the enterior of the main room are definitely the highlight. As add on - the breakfast was outstanding thanks to Thomas who prepared us a daily special which I’ll need to cook at home from now on as well :). The room offers everything that you need - comfortable bed, black out curtains and clean bathroom. Tea and coffee is also available at the room. All in all we really loved it there and would definitely come back and recommend it to everyone!

Hout Bay Breeze Guest House is situated on the mountainside, overlooking the Hout Bay Harbour and beach. The guest house has an outdoor pool. The units in the guest house are fitted with a kettle.

From the moment you enter the yard and get greeted by Mr Banda i knew i was going to have a good stay. The breakfast was nice and simple and i like how the gentleman (Banda, Yamikani and Kingston) kept asking us if we wanted breakfast for the following morning despite how we kept telling them we would think about it. They checked up on us to ensure we were comfortable with everything that we needed. Safety is key and you are on top of that, extinguishers and fire blankets were available which you don’t find at some places. I also loved the fact that i could do my BBQ by the gazebo with the Braii stand and Grill available at site. It felt like my own home.

Loved the warm welcome and interactions/conversations with Alex(owner) and Lily(caretaker). -The room had loads of natural light and they are extremely relaxing and comfortable. -Views are not sea facing or anything special but the windows have shade from trees which also helps with privacy. View was not an important point for us and we enjoyed bird watching on the adjacent trees, so for us it was good! -Ample parking, safe street. -Restaurants closeby. -We were able to store our luggage with them and park oir car in their parking lot much before check in time and head out for snorkeling activity. -Short driving distance from beaches and town. - Our first time in Hout bay and Alex and Lily gave us a great orientation of the town and Alex recomended some cool things to do. -Dont miss the enterance door, its an art piece. -Safety of the cottage is very good. *One incedent to mention is the day of checkout we had to leave early in the morning and Alex was extremely accomodating and took special effort to pack some delicious goodies for the way/breakfast.
