This quietly located guesthouse is 12 km from the village center of Grindelwald and is only accessible by gondola. (In summer, it is also accessible via various hiking trails.) Location unbeatable. On top of the mountain. Perfect for stargazing if night sky is clear but I didn’t go out because I was scared what if I cant open the main gate with the code. But I am sure if I had asked the staff before they went off work, they would have showed. Staff is very helpful. They offered to heat my food for me. i could sit in the restaurant even when I was having my own food. I went on romantic trail and it was beautiful and started right from the property.

Janette was amazing, accommodating, and so welcoming! Our room was clean, comfortable and the view was lovely. This was our favorite place we stayed at during our entire nine days in Switzerland. We would definitely come back!
