Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.

The centre of the village is reachable within a pleasant 15-minute walk and in winter the ski bus brings you to the train and cable car station for free. The bus station is reachable on foot in 4 minutes. In winter, please take bus stop Heimat, in summer please take bus stop Brunni. Those bus stops also are the correct ones coming from the train station. Beautiful location, a 20-25 minute walk to the heart of Engelberg. The owners were very hospitable and friendly and it was a wonderful stay overall.

The hotel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The woman who served us breakfast was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our mornings delightful. The location was also very convenient for accessing Mount Pilatus.

There are two more rooms with whom you have to share the bathroom but it is a big and clean modern bathroom. There is also a living room with TV and coffee station for common use. Everything looked new and clean, we felt really home, would highly recommend.
