Run by a family, they were so helpful and kind. They even picked us up from the airport and arranged a taxi for our early ferry. The room was perfect, with a cute kitchen area and pool. Walk to town was easy - don’t let it put you off!

But best of all, the hostel hosts Trudy and Ivan were the most wonderful people and completely made our stay. Ivan has lived his whole life on San Cristobal and worked as a fisherman, and Trudy is descended from the first descendants of Floreana Island (also in the Galapagos). They are so kind and friendly, helped us with information and recommendations, and we so appreciated getting to learn about them and their story. I had a great stay. Close to the main area of town and main sea lion beach. My room had a view over the harbour and was helped with tours and ferries which is great as booking online is much more expensive. The room was very clean. I especially liked sitting in hammocks overlooking the water at sunset.
