The nearest airport is Girona-Costa Brava Airport, 24 km from Hostal del Mar. We had a Seaview room and balcony with stunning views , right on the beach and looking up to the castle. Perfect location with everything on our doorsteps. Maria, the receptionist, was fantastic: friendly, helpful…We extended our stay because we loved it so much. It was such a cheap price. Barcelona was 3 times more expensive for the cheapest, most ordinary accommodation.

Also, both the dinner and breakfast were fit for a king/queen! Cafe con leche was the best ever, as was the shower head and water pressure!! The room took care for the smallest of details, and soooo clean! :} Gràcies per tot!
