Rooms at Meadowcroft are traditionally furnished, and benefit from a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There is storage space in bedside chests of drawers and a wardrobe in every room. We only stated one night, but everything was terrific. The room and bathroom was very, very clean, to the point that we could have been the first ones to stay there. The bed was comfortable and warm, despite the cold and rainy weather outside. The breakfast couldn’t be faulted and I can without reservation give this place 5 stars.

Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. new owners. will definitely come back.

Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Very tasty and authentic British breakfast. Nice decor. Quiet at night,good for sleep. Affordable price. The house owner kindly took care of my bag after checking out.Thanks a lot.

Benefits also include an en suite bathroom, designer toiletries, and a hospitality tray with fresh coffee milk, teas, and biscuits. Wonderfully quirky little B and B. A very comfortable room with enough bedroom space. Loved the claw bath, this was in the bedroom, I loved this but some may not. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little place was the perfect walking distance to Bowness for restaurants and Windermere for shopping.

The room was very comfortable and the bathroom with the big tub and waterfall shower was a beautiful touch.
