It was designed by the owner and you can see the personal care behind it. Bunks in dorms are clean, spacious and super cozy with the wooden aesthetic. The staff was so welcoming and generous, it was great to be able to meet them as a solo traveller and made it feel like I was staying with friends. Walking distance to train station and large supermarket only 10 mins away. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will come back here if I come back to Shikoku.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the beds and public spaces are well kept. The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! Very comfortable bed, great views and great location close to Ōboke train station, easy to get to. Traditional Japanese house. I recommend taking part in kayaking activities as well.

Really nice guesthouse, tastefully renovated and decorated, situated in a quiet village where you can relax and enjoy the nature and village life. We spent 2 nights there and our stay was comfortable. Our room was big, the beds comfortable. The kitchen is nice and it has everything one need for preparing meals. Tyler is a very friendly host which likes to share his knowledge about the region, thank you for this.
