At the guest house, the units have a private bathroom. In the middle of the Ziz valley, just next to a nice river and a beautiful kasbah, this facility is perfect for those who travels between Fes and the desert. The place is managed by a berber family, who made our stay perfect: nice welcoming, amazing dinner and breakfast, and finally nice guided tour of the near ziz valley until the old kasbah. From the beautifully decorated rooms and the peaceful garden setting to the delicious food and genuine hospitality — everything is done with care and heart. Offering quiet street views, Auberge des lacs in Imilchil features accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a bar and a shared lounge. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. This was the most remote village of our trip, right in the heart of the Atlas, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is centrally located in the village, making it easy to explore the surroundings. The room was simple and rural, but very comfortable—with a surprisingly good bed. We also had one of the best tagines of our entire trip here! Breakfast was delicious as well. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful escape.

All guest rooms at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. Welcome was really friendly, fantastic location, special part of Morocco for a tranquil stay. Breakfast and evening meal first class and truly Moroccan. It is off the beaten track and offers a true taste of Morocco. First time have ever given a 10 rating and travel on a regular basis, just a special place even if hot water in shower unpredictable, just did not seem to matter.

The area is popular for walking tours, and car hire is available at the guest house. The auberge is located in a Palm Grove, which I really love. You can walk out of the door and instantly being in a palmerie that is quiet, beautiful, and exotic.

Located in Merzouga, Riad Les jardins de Merzouga features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The guest house provides garden views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The hosts (Omar and Hassan) were absolutely lovely, so caring and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and spotless. We had both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious, clearly prepared and served with love. The hotel is perfectly located right by the dunes , just a short walk through palm trees and you’re there. We’re so pleased our trip to faraway Merzouga was perfect, and staying here truly made the whole experience feel wholesome and complete. Hopefully we can come back one day!

At Auberge Palacio Sidi Hamza every room has a seating area. The food and hospitality was the best we had in our two week trip around Morocco. Probably the most authentic experience we had and can’t recommend it highly enough if you want to get off the tourist route and experience the real side of Morocco.
