Walid and his family are incredibly warm, feels right at home. The guest house has a charming, traditional courtyard and terraces with mountain views; a peaceful place to relax. Walid is exceptionally accommodating, to share advice on where to go next and how to get there. It’s a very kind family and a memorable place to stay in Zagora. Highly recommended!

The staff were warm and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the garden was a beautiful, relaxing space. Breakfast was fresh and delicious —highly recommended

Set in Agdz, Chez Yacob kasbah features accommodation with a hot spring bath and a public bath. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. This is a stunningly beautiful hotel in an equally stunningly beautiful location. The exceptional design of the building conveys a relaxed ambiance that also keeps the building cool throughout the midday heat. The staff is great as is the food. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. The surrounding area from the mountains, farms, historical sites and villages gives great opportunities for hiking around. I would highly recommend this kasbah.

Featuring city views, Kasbah Maktob Tamnougalt in Agdz provides accommodation and a garden. The property was built in 1933 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The guest house features a restaurant serving African cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. This is something special. If you are bored with big expensive modern hotels and you are on the Morocco trip, try this. You will sleep in the old original earthen castle in so, so state (not collapsing, but not so far from this state, almost everything in this village looks like at the end of life cycle), but with very friendly owner who will prepare full tajine from scratch (not like in the restaurant, here you can wait almost two hours, it was excellent). Sit there, drink tea and relax. Fantastic return in time. Leave Ait Ben Haddou for tourist agencies, here you can sleep in the same buildings without any other tourists and crowds. Lovely place.

Bike hire and car hire are available at this inn and the area is popular for cycling. This place is so comfortable and relaxing. the common patio (Mensa) is very beautiful and relaxing. I met some other travelers who were fun and interesting. The swimming pool construction is almost finished, looking great. As a solo traveler I took the smaller room. it was cozy comfortable adorable and I slept well. Food was excellent!!

Lachen, Dominique and their staff are wonderful hosts and their location and setting are both beautiful as is the design of both the buildings and the garden. Parking easy and secure. Food delicious. We would have happily stayed longer but of course were moving on. Thanks for a memorable stay and delicious food.

Such a warm welcome with Moroccan tea and a lovely garden area with lots of seating and places to sit. We only stayed one night and Mohamed cooked us an amazing meal - soup, tagine and a lovely yogurt desert, all inside by the log fire as the temperature dropped at night. We were also very pleased with breakfast - a selection of pastries and bread, tea or coffee and yogurt. This was a perfect stay for us.
